turned thirty on 8th April, I wanted to make this Lockdown Playlist a collection of Trip-Hop cuts. That album, to many, is a Trip-Hop classic. Whether you see the album as Trip-Hop or British Hip-Hop, it is a sound and scene that produced some incredible albums. I think that Blue Lines still sound amazing after three decades – even if people at the time wondered whether that sound would endure and be remembered down the line. The early-1990s was a great time for genres like Trip-Hop, Dance and Electronica.
