about being single – permanently in my case! – is that it can provide a lot of freedom and space. There is also that independence. However, there is also a loneliness and sense of being an outsider. There is nothing wrong with being single. However, so many songs focus on love, desire, sex and relationships. If you have not been in one or are single, it can be isolating or jar slightly.
