Songs from Albums Turning Forty in 2027

_________

I am getting close…

to the 1990s. That is the decade where I was a child and teen and really bonded with music. So when I feature albums from 1992 and 1997, there will be a lot of personal memories tied to the albums. However, I was alive in 1987 and can appreciate a lot of the albums from that year. I was three/four, so memories are dim. I bonded with a lot of these when I was older. Marking forty years of some truly enduring albums. Included are Prince, U2, Whitney Houston, Guns N’ Roses, Eric B. & Rakim, and many more. Some people reading this would have grown up with these albums. Forty years later, do they sound as essential and memorable as they did back then?! Perhaps so. This mixtape below is overflowing with 1987-released gold. Tremendous songs from a great year. For those who were around in 1987 and heard these albums when they were released, I hope that some warm and wonderful memories come…

FLOODING back.
