Is It Possible to Reach Kate Bush At All?

I have raised before. I did need to come back to it. I know that it is possible to get through to Kate Bush. She is am artist that is approached by filmmakers. People that want to use her music in their films and T.V. shows. I am not sure if they write to her direct. Though the message does get through to her. Perhaps it was easier back in the 1970s and 1980s. When there was a fan club and Kate Bush actually responded to fans. Now, because there are millions around the world, it would be impossible for her to reply to people. She has social media channels, though she is not the one who updates them. She will post messages to her official website. There is a contact page there, but this is not monitored by Kate Bush. In terms of getting directly to her, it is a little tricky. I can appreciate why some artists would want to be guarded or not contacted by the public. Kate Bush seems especially hard to get hold of. She is represented by Murray Chalmers. They are a P.R. firm that looks after a lot of high-profile artists. They include Robbie Williams and Radiohead. You can email or call but, in my experience, getting a response is next to impossible. I have tried to call and people do not pick up. Aside from that, there is scant access to Kate Bush. This is fair enough. She is a private person, yet I wonder how anyone gets in touch. People have rewritten letters to her, so where are those being sent to?! Sending them directly to her home address would be an invasion of her privacy. What I feel is that they get through to her management, but you could try here I guess. I have tried writing to the postal address that is listed on Companies House. Yet, when I have sent a letter, there has been no response.
Kate Bush does post updates to her official website, so there is this form of interaction. When it comes to fans contacting Kate Bush, there is not the same ease that there was decades ago. This is not a random moan from me. What I do want to do is to reach out regarding a project in 2028. This is a way off, but it is one that relates to Kate Bush. Her incredible debut single and album. They are Wuthering Heights and The Kick Inside respectively. I am going to write more about it closer to the time. Though writing to Kate Bush about it is crucial. Rather than her being an active part of it , just letting her know it is happening is so important. Because I don’t know if she released the impact her debut single and album has. Whether she will do anything to mark it in January and February 2028. When we see these documentaries and programmes, the producers would have written to Kate Bush to ask permission to use her music. I wonder whether they are writing to her under the guise of ‘FISHPEOPLE LTD. She is listed as ‘Catherine Bush’ and Catherine McIntosh’ alternatively. In any case, there does seem to be this one address: First Floor, 14-15, Berners Street, London. I have written there and nothing has come from it. Not that I am more special than anyone else. But I do have a format and an idea that I want to get mounted. 2028 is going to be a big year. No doubt people will mark fifty years of Kate Bush’s debut. Her coming onto the music scene was a massive moment. Where everything began. Even if Bush is a bigger fan of her later work and might not thinking about her debut album, it has a legacy and there are a lot of fans of it. I am thinking ahead to that time, as there is a lot to prepare. A budget to figure out.

It is quite crucial to get some approval from Kate Bush. Being able to use her music and hoist an event about her. Though I find it so difficult to actually get a letter to her. You can send it to an address, though you never actually know whether it goes past their front door. In the modern age, so many artists are available through email or Instagram. Fans can contact them directly. I can totally respect Kate Bush’s privacy and selectivity. I have a very serious proposition, so it is justifiable that I reach out to Kate Bush. Someone might have a better idea of where I can get in touch with Kate Bush. As we sort of get nearer to 2028, I am exploring various avenues. All seem to be dead-ends at the moment. Decades ago, there was a different landscape. Lucky fans could get the opportunity to write to Kate Bush and maybe get a personal response. It is harder and harder for people to get hold of her. Though I do read stories where smaller productions have used Kate Bush’s music and must have written to her. It would be nice if there was a more direct route such as a phone number. I do worry that if I call someone and say I want to write to Kate Bush, there would be this refusal. Even if my intentions are pure. Someone might answer and say to send a letter and they can forward. That might be the best that I can hope for. I am always thinking about The Kick Inside. When it does turn fifty – 17th February, 2028 -, we do need to do something substantial to celebrate it. I would love to write a letter to Kate Bush outlining plans and outlining my praise and affection for her debut album. Why it means so much to me and so many other people around the world. I shall try and figure how to get a letter or email to Kate Bush. It does open this debate about some artists and access. Whether, for those who want to be private but still communicate with fans, whether there would be more open channels or ways for people to contact them. Or if privacy means selectivity. Certain letters will get to Kate Bush and others will not. It is a tough one. It would be an absolute dream to write to the divine Kate Bush…
